  • Kempton Christmas Racing | Tips and Preview with Danny Archer and Ed Quigley

George Elek is joined by Ed Quigley and Danny Archer who calls in from sunny Morocco to preview the UK Christmas racing schedule from Kempton.

The guys take a look at both the 26th and 27th, as well as a look at the Welsh Grand National from Chepstow and a brief look at the action from Leopardstown in Ireland.

The King George takes centre stage as ever at Kempton with Bravemansgame and L'Homme Presse at the top of the market with the former current favourite at a best price of 15/8 but as short as 13/8 in places. Hitman is another in the field who takes Ed's eye as Paul Nicholls looks to win the race for a record 13th time, lining up with Bravemansgame and Frodon also to complete his treble.

After being abandoned due to frozen ground last week, the Long walk Hurdle was added to Kempton's card. Champ and Paisley Park retain favouritism with the former looking to go back-to-back having won it last year. Both Danny and Ed have their reservations and are looking elsewhere for this one.

McFabulous is the favourite to land the Kauto Star Novices' Chase next up and now into 11/10 having been as big as 13/8.

The Christmas Hurdle gives us another chance to see the brilliant Consitution Hill in action as he takes on Epatante once more. The question in this one is how many will line up on the day itself with ten entered at present.

The final race on the card at Kempton is the Ladbrokes Handicap Hurdle with Danny Archer very keen on Theatre Glory.

Over at Chepstow on Tuesday meanwhile, Ed has his best bet of the festive period in the Welsh Grand National.

  • Cheltenham International Meeting | Tips and Preview with Andy Holding

George Elek is joined by Andy Holding to look ahead to Saturday's racing at Cheltenham with the annual International Meeting taking place. With frosty weather forecast overnight we're keeping everything crossed that the action will still go ahead.

The day's card starts with the Triumph Trial Juvenile Hurdle at 12.05pm. At the time of recording three firms have priced the race up with Nusret the favourite at a best price of 6/4 compared to worst odds of 11/8. Scriptwriter and Perseus Way come next in the betting with 11 set to run. Andy is keen on Perseus Way here.

Next up it's the Novices' Chase with just three declared. Monmiral is a heavy favourite, as short as 2/7 in places with a best price of 4/11 and has the in-form Harry Cobden booked for the ride. Kissesforkatie and Art Approval complete the trip at best odds of 7/2 and 10/1 respectively.

The Handicap Chase looks a competitive affair at 1.15. Editeur Du Gite heads the field at 11/4 but 7 of the 8 runners are at single figure odds. Gumball, Thyme White and Dolos look the biggest threats. Third Time Lucki lines up too looking to bounce back from two disappointing runs at Ascot and Exeter.

The Gold Cup Handicap Chase is another typically open looking affair. Harry Cobden rides 9/2 favourite Il Ridoto with Stolen Silver, War Lord, and Simply The Betts also declared and towards the top of the market. Cheddleton looks an interesting runner at 20/1, Rishi Persad was keen to get him on side when previewing the race on this week's episode of Racing Weekly. Andy meanwhile thinks Fern Hill is also overpriced at 20/1.

The Grade 2 International Hurdle is the big race on the card with five declared to run. Epatante is the 6/4 favourite as she runs for the first time since her humbling defeat to Constitution Hill in the Fighting Fifth. I Like To Move It and Knappers Hill look set to provide her with a strong test and Andy throws First Street into the mix as well and thinks he's the one to be with.

The penultimate race on the card is the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle. Weveallbeencaught and Outlaw Peter look set to contest this one with Thomas Mor and Grand Soir also declared. Andy thinks Outlaw Peter has a 'touch of class' and expects him to run in the Albert Bartlett at the festival in March.

The day ends with the Mares' Handicap Hurdle. Nico de Boinville rides favourite Theatre Glory at a best price of 3/1. Martello Sky, Lady Adare and Nina The Terrier aren't far behind with all three between 4/1 and 11/2.

  • Tingle Creek | Tips and Preview with Andy Holding and Ed Quigley

George Elek is joined by Andy Holding and Ed Quigley to look ahead to this weekend's racing from Sandown, headlined by the Tingle Creek.

Shishkin has been declared to run alongside five rivals including last year's winner Greaneteen as well as Dunvegan, Edwardstone, Funambule Sivola and Gentleman De Mee. At the time of writing Shishkin is a best price of 11/10 compared to worst odds of EVS.

The guys also take a look at the Becher Chase and cast an eye over Sunday's action at Fairyhouse where Honeysuckle looks to win a fourth Hattons' Garden.

  • Winter Carnival | Tips and Preview with Andy Holding

George Elek is joined by Andy Holding to look ahead to this weekend's Winter Carnival at Newbury, as well as a look at the Fighting Fifth at Newcastle.

Not the most eye-catching race on the card but Andy is keen on one in the Handicap Chase at 12.45 on Friday where Balco Coastal heads the betting at a current best price of 7/4.

Friday's Graded action starts at 13:55 with the Coral Racing Club Novices' Chase. Stage Star is massively fancied for this one with the Grade 1 winner making his first appearance since winning on Chase debut at Warwick recently. He's currently a top price of 4/5 but as short as 4/6 in places.

The second Grade 2 on Friday's card comes at 15:05 with the Long Distance Hurdle. Some familiar names line up in this one where Champ is between 11/8 and 15/8 depending on where you look. Next in the betting follow Proschema and Paisley Park at 3/1 and 9/2 respectively.

Saturday's action has several highlights on the card. The second race of the day is the Grade 2 Coral John Francome Novices' Chase. Thyme Hill heads the market at 5/4 but Gelino Bello and McFabulous aren't far behind with four set to go to post.At 15:05 we've got the Coral Gold Cup. Corach Rambler has run just once since winning the Ultima at the Cheltenham Festival but appears primed for a big run. It's a typically open field for this renewal with joint favourites Threeunderthrufive and the aforementioned Corach Rambler at 7/1.

Over at Newcastle we've also got the Fighting Fifth on Saturday. At the time of writing both Epatante and the mercurial Constitution Hill have both been declared after the latter was controversially withdrawn at Ascot last week. The latter is the 2/7 favourite but Andy questions whether he'll be race ready and thinks Epatante may well have been aimed at it.

  • Betfair Chase | Tips & Preview with Andy Holding and Paddy Aspell

George Elek is joined by Andy Holding and The Betting Show debutant Paddy Aspell to preview this weekend's racing, headlined by the Betfair Chase at Haydock.

The guys start by taking a look at the racing from Ascot with two Grade 2s on the card including the Coral Hurdle where Constitution Hill will grace us with his presence for the first time this season.

The pod starts with a look at the 1965 Chase. Paddy isn't concerned by the barren spell of Venetia Williams and expects L'homme Presse to get the job done, currently at a best price of 4/7. Hitman has now been declared at both Ascot and Haydock but has been backed into 9/4 second favourite for the 1965.

Constitution Hill is a huge favourite in the Coral Hurdle at best odds of 1/4. Both Andy and Paddy are in agreement that he's in a different league to the four rivals he'll face.

Over at Haydock the Graduation Chase is Hitman's other option for the weekend and he 4/7 for this one with Minella Drama, Erne River and Itchy Feet all declared too. The Handicap Hurdle looks set to be a competitive affair with 13 declared. Might I and Run For Oscar are the current market leaders at 4/1.

At 3pm it's the Betfair Chase and the headline race on the card. A Plus Tard is looking to go back-to-back having won his third Grade 1 race here last year. He'll line up against Protektorat, Eldorado Allen, Bristol De Mai and Frodon. At 4/7 the price has shortened slightly with a bit of money around for Haydock veteran Bristol De Mai who's now 15/2.

The panel finish with a look at Sunday's Morgiana Hurdle at Punchestown where Sir Gerhard and Vauban have NOT been declared.

  • World Cup 2022 | Predictions, Preview & Betting Tips

The guys take a deep dive into all eight groups, analysing the runners and riders, with the likes of England, France, Brazil, Argentina and Portugal all expected to win their groups. Spain and Germany will face each other in the group stage whilst Belgium and Croatia face off too.

Will Gareth Southgate's England have another successful tournament after a semi-final and final in their last two? They face the USA, Iran, and rivals Wales who are sure to provide a stern test as they look for more success at a major tournament.

The guys also touch on the Golden Boot and Golden Ball markets with Mark O'Haire providing some interesting trends. Harry Kane heads the betting as he hopes to retain his 2018 gong, but the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Lionel Messi will have a lot to say themselves.

Messi's Argentina are now 11/2 to win the tournament having been continually backed since the summer, however South American rivals retain favouritism at 4/1.

  • Cheltenham November Meeting | Tips and Preview with Andy Holding

Danny Archer is joined by Andy Holding to preview this weekend's racing from Cheltenham's November Meeting. With the National Hunt season back in full flow the guys are looking forward to getting an early look at the likes of Edwardstone, Three Stripe Life and more.

The highlight on Friday's card looks to be the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle where Hubrisko now heads the market. Hermes Allen is an interesting runner who'll be looking to build on his success after a 27L win last time out at Stratford.

There are two Grade 2 contests on Saturday's card, starting with the Prestbury Juvenile Hurdle at 12:35. Blueking Doroux (5/2) is the early favourite with Scriptwriter behind at a best price of 4/1. The second Grade 2 of the day is the Arkle Challenge Trophy Trial Novices' Chase. A fascinating looking contest sees the likes of Monmiral, Banbridge and Pentland Hills go head-to-head. The former opened up an EVS favourite but is already out to 15/8. As well the Grade 2 action we'll also see the Paddy Power Gold Cup at 2.20. At the time of writing French Dynamite is the 4/1 favourite, closely followed by Ga Law (6/1) who was flagged up by Paul Ferguson on this week's episode of Racing Weekly.

Another two Grade 2 races follow on Sunday with The Cheltenham Chase at 1.45. A cracking looking field with Edwardstone (4/5) and Nube Negra (6/4) looking the two to beat. The final Grade 2 of the meeting is the Supreme Trial Novices' Hurdle. An open looking contest with Springwell Bay, Iberico Lord and Gin Coco likely to be popular in the market.
