After our previous show with Russel E.L. Butler, we invited hometurf hero Vuur, aka Guido, to join us at Echobox Radio last month. Guido has been making moves in the Amsterdam scene over the last couple of years with his well-thought out selections. Next to playing his sexy and groove-driven sets at the likes of IsBurning, Festimi and Radio Radio, he also works at Bar Pamela, an iconic queer bar in the city of Amsterdam, where he’s responsible for programming the night slots alongside Carlos Valdes. During the show we had a little chat with the upcoming youngster, and he blessed us with an eclectic mix of deep moods and uplifting house.
