Sermon from April 24, 2016.

With dawn comes victory for those who believe. Women approach the tomb in anticipation of caring for the body of their Lord, only to find their Lord has no need for spices and linen. He has risen from the death we all deserved so that we might live as He intended. The grave is the symbol of Christ's victory over Satan, doom, and death. The way for man's redemption has been paved.

Matthew 23:1-34 (NASB)

With the entry of Christ into their domain, the religious leaders direct a full attack challenging Christ on his authority. Jesus, to their dismay, returns questions with questions, and speaks in parables warning those who reject Him. It's a battle of wits and words that leads to the Pharisees plotting to kill Jesus.

When we pray, we must learn to pray with the following: heart, depth, Kingdom views, consistency, passion, freedom, and at all times. We can see this example from Christ in Matthew 6, verse 9-13.

2 Corinthians 9:7 (NASB) - "Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
