might 可能，也许。是 may 的过去时。
当我们要表达：某人想（thought）可能会怎样怎样（如上句），某人说（said）可能会怎样怎样，某人问（asked）可不可以怎样怎样，这几种语境中的“可能，也许”用 might。

如果送的是圣诞节礼物，还可以在句子后面加上 for Christmas（为/给）圣诞节 
I thought you might like this for Christmas.
我想你圣诞节可能会喜欢这个。

如果是给对方的生日礼物，把 Christmas 换成 your birthday 你生日 
I thought you might like this for your birthday.
我想你生日时可能会喜欢这个。
