I like cooking. 我喜欢做饭。
He quite likes going to the cinema. 他很喜欢去看电影。

如果我们很喜欢、非常喜欢某做事某个东西（we like something a lot），要怎么说呢？

可以用程度副词really，口语里经常用，“真的，很，非常”，这里我们可以说得重一点，强调really。
He really likes that new cinema.他真的很喜欢那个新的电影院。
换成 那个新游泳池 that new swimming pool —>
He really likes that new swimming pool.
他真的很喜欢那个新的游泳池。

be fond of (something/somebody) 喜欢……，喜爱……
喜欢的程度比like要深。
She's fond of chocolate.
= She is fond of chocolate.
她很喜欢巧克力。
换成人 哈里Harry —>
She's fond of Harry.
她很喜欢哈里。

I like cooking very much. 
我非常喜欢做饭。
I like swimming very much.
我非常喜欢游泳。
I like reading very much.
我非常喜欢读书。
注意！very much 必须出现在“喜欢xx”的宾语的后面。
I like cooking very much. 这句不会说 I like very much cooking. 或者 I very like cooking.
