我们常常要 compare one thing with another（将一个东西和另一个东西相比较）或是 compare one person with another（将一个人和另一个人相比较），就要用到比较级和最高级。

comparative 比较级形式

比较级的规则变化：

① 在词尾加-er

② 在形容词前面用 more 更……

Your hair is longer than mine. 

你的头发比我的长。

mine =  my hair

It's colder today than yesterday.

今天比昨天冷。
