could （语气中性）
You could wear your red dress. 你可以穿你的红裙子。
couldn't （语气强）
Couldn't you get up early? 你（就）不能早点起床吗？

今天再学一种语气很强的建议（a strong suggestion）：
can't you …?
你（就）不能……

We can use can't you …? to make a strong suggestion.（我们可以用 can't you …? 提出语气强的建议。）
