SHE WANTS TO GO TO JAIL OR PRISON

It’s what gives Theresa Perdue a feeling of fulfillment and satisfaction in life. She actually meets with nearly 100 inmates a week to plant a seed that recovery is possible no matter what they’ve done and that jail is more difficult than treatment. In this edition of Odyssey House Journals she explains how she answers when inmates ask her if she has been addicted. AT THE AGE OF 15 SHE WAS IN MAXIMUM SECURITY AT AN ADULT PRISON

This is one of the most unbelievable stories I’ve ever heard, but it’s true! Jessica tried to escape from a juvenile lockdown and wounded a guard during the escape. She was sentenced to 5 years to life and spent the next 15 years in prison. BUT NOW at the age of 37 she has totally turned her life around and is working hard to make sure this doesn’t happen to other kids. This edition of Odyssey House Journals is a story that shouldn’t happen to anyone. Watch or listen and hopefully subscribe (free) to the 30 minute podcast on the following platforms:
