Like probably every artist on The FuMP, Tom Leher was a huge influence on my music -- so when the opportunity to cover his work came along, I absolutely needed to do my favorite song of his. In one of Tom Leher's live recordings, he describes this song as the theme to the "Oedipus Rex" movie -- I wanted to explore that further, like if there was a full musical -- this would be the final song that would carry us into the credits. My long-time producer, Bob Emmet, understood the assignment. Here's what we came up with.
