Dive shops are some of my favorite places. An atmosphere of learning, a melting pot of characters, an opportunity to discover new friendships. While spending some time at Tek Deep Asia last year, I had the opportunity to meet Priyamvada Tiwari. Originally from India, she came to Amed for training. It was great to have her on the podcast to hear her story of how it all began and how it's going. It was an honor to sit down with Rinto Ariyadi. Based out of Jakarta, but he can usually be found in the overhead environments throughout Indonesia. From his early days of diving to searching for water filled, underground passages, he has become an advocate for diving sidemount. At a young age Anand Chandra Sekaran would be captivated by the documentary The Underground Eiger. This story of British Cave Explorers would be his motivation to pursue a career within the world of scuba diving. A journey that would propel him into a position of leadership.
