Off The Back Fence

We didn't come back straight after Origin, too depressed after what happened last Wednesday night but we go all the way back to Origin 1 and try to figure out what went wrong for the Queenslanders. The boys go through Round 14 of the NRL, how this might be the start of a long period for the Broncos and how the hell did the Bulldogs get a win? Finish off with Round 15 tips, NHL and NBA Playoff chat plus will Gallen get done by Justis Huni?

Nice and short one for your Wednesday leading up to game 1 of Ampol State of Origin with Queenslander and reknowned Blues hater Mark Maguire. The boys have a yarn about how the game will go and where we think it will be won and lost.

Origin is back, but not in Melbourne as we enter a 4th lockdown in 12 months which has one co-host ready to go. The boys have a quick yarn about round 12 of the NRL but jump into the State of Origin sides and the moving of the game to the new neutral site of Townsville. We also touch on Combesy's Toronto Maple Leafs and why they aren't built for playoffs, plus a little NBA chat.

We are two weeks away from Origin however COVID is threaten Combesy's origin tickets. But before that, we go into Round 11 action, sussy drama with the new rules. Broncos are back plus round 12 picks. We then had everything else going on in the world of sports, NBA playoffs have officially kicked off, Stanley Cup playoffs in full swing and Lefty turning back the clock and taking out the PGA Championship. Plus rapid fire AFL tips because Combesy has converted to AFL.

It was magic round over the weekend, Waz made the trek to Suncorp to enjoy a bit of the football festival whilst Combesy had to watch in Melbourne. We do a quick wrap of all the games as that wasn't the main talking point of the weekend. We talk some NBA and NHL playoffs which has just gotten under way in the states, plus a little EPL and why Allisson is doing it for his Dad.

Combesy has gone mad and started punting 5 legs a game. If that doesn't tickle your fancy, the boys also talk Round 9 preview with all the games, tips along with AFL round 9 quick fire picks plus LeBron is LeSook, being hypocritical about the play-in tournement he liked only months ago.

Broncos are back, career ending injuries and much more ensue in Round 8 as we do a quick wrap. AFL round 7 wrap plus a bit of chatter about the NFL draft.

Both boys had themselves a weekend, whether it was enjoying knock off beers a bit too much or having a head cold after a wedding. But, we've soldiered on to talk all things happening in the world of sport including the European Super League and how it has flamed out quite quickly, Round 6 wrap up and Round 7 preview, plus a little bit of AFL talk including Brisbane bringing another title to the olympic city.
