Since its inception in 2011, the Kentucky Chapter of SCC has distributed over $536,000 in funding and assistance in their local service area, including $227,000 in grant funding over the past three years

On Thursday, June 15th, from 6-8pm a special dinner will be held at The Montgomery Inn Boathouse in Cincinati, honoring NASCAR hall of famer and Kentucky native Darrell "DW" Waltrip.This is a intimate setting with a limit of 40 guests.

Evergreen Raceway is a 1/3-mile asphalt oval that has produced some of the finest short track racers since the 50s. Located in St. Johns, PA (near Hazleton) and it’s nestled in the foothills of the Pocono Mountains, the track and it’s racers provide ground pounding excitement for all ages. Cabre started racing at the age of four in motocross and has found success on the track ever since. Between 2011 and 2013, Cabre earned 12 race wins in 21 starts in a 600 Mini Sprint Car. He was also a two-time Fall Brawl Champion at the Ocala Bullring. In 2016, at Hickory Motor Speedway, he averaged a 4th place finish, as well as setting two poles throughout the season.

The one-fifth mile paved short track located on Indy’s east side is famous for its thrilling Figure 8 racing and intense oval action. Its signature event is the annual World Championship 3-Hour Figure 8 Endurance Race held each September.We will speak with Johnathan Byrd, the new track president and general manager. One of the oldest auto racing venues in the United States, the historic Lincoln Tech Indianapolis Speedrome, is now entering a new era under the ownership of Kevin Garrigus. “I am very proud to own the Speedrome“, stated Mr. Garrigus. “And I am extremely excited about its future. Opening day is April 1st, 2017, and the track is the only one locally that boasts about something called "The List" where being an "Outlaw" pays off. In June the track will host the NHRA Nationals.
