Codi is away for the weekend, which means it's up to Ken & Kyle to be responsible while she is out. The two of them discuss how France & Italy are (foolishly) sticking to their guns against the studios in terms of theatrical windowing, and whether Pixar needs to start taking lessons from Illumination when it comes to storytelling for the current theatrical audience.

Codi, Kyle & Ken discuss a trend in the steady amount of moviegoing customers and if theaters should focus their attention on them rather than all audiences. They also talk about if audiences are feeling tricked by political undertones in theatrical releases.

Codi gives her insight on the idea of leaving some theater screens dark rather than playing movies that aren't making a return on a theater's investment. Meanwhile, Ken and Kyle give their insight on a saucy new picture of Ryan Gosling for the upcoming Barbie movie.

After a longer than anticipated hiatus, Codi, Kyle, and Ken are back with a new podcast studio just in time to discuss which movie will be the big summer movie of 2022. They discuss how heartbroken they are to hear of a popcorn shortage, but also make sure to rub it in Netflix's face after they announce they're contemplating giving some of their big movies official theatrical releases.
