The Southern 500 has a unique way of crushing your hopes and dreams in an instant or over a long period of time. That was the case for many drivers on Sunday night. Our Chain Gang is ready to cover all that drama right now!

As expected, the Daytona regular season finale did NOT disappoint! This race had a little bit of everything and when it was all said and done, we have ourselves a playoff grid where anything can happen. Let's Goooooooooooo!

The Watkins Glen race this year left quite a lot to be desired for us race fans. Hoppy knew that Chase wouldn't be victorious but didn't think it would be due to some of the sports best engineers forgetting how to do math. Checky is pumped about Ryan Newman winning the SRX championship and Willy just wants to find a store that sell Eggo liquor.

The McDominator showed up at Indy and kicked some ass! Chase is still chasing the chase and Wrecky Stenhouse shows why he still yells, "America 1776, we are the champs!"

Martin Trued dominates stages 1 and 2 only to be left guessing at how to get around Chris Buescher at the end of the race completed on a Monday! Plenty of wrecks and drama on and off the track to talk about this week with the Chain Gang! And even a special apperance by my partner in crime!

The racing at Richmond left a lot to be desired but it wasn't without it entertainment for strategery. The Chain Gang debates what could/should be done to bring back the excitement to this speedway and we have a discussion about the 3rd SRX race of their 3rd season. Also, Willy may have fallen asleep at some point.

All Hail Ryan Preece the take no BS from anyone ever again, racer!

After their mix up on pit road after the race, Lajoie and Preece give the Chain Gang a realization about this season and what we'll see over the next 5 weeks.

The Gang also has mixed opinions on Hamlin's race winning moves. Larson maybe should look in the mirror, or at least at his own footage from Watkins Glen last year?

Martin Truex does it again by winning on a Monday! WIth his first ever win at New Hampshire he increases his career total to 34 which puts him tied for 25th all time with Kurt Busch. The Chain Gang discusses the idea that you can have a good race without a lot of lead changes, we question what the real name of the Lobster trophy is, and Willy enlightens us with comments while in his bedroom looking for a beer can with some Miller Lite left in it. All this and more!

Rain remains undefeated over the last 2 weeks in NASCAR and it gifted us some of the best racing all season as well! The Chain Gang takes this opportunity to reveal what the BEST way is for NASCAR to update it's schedule to add more races, dominate primetime, and run a tourney pool!

They might not know what they're doing in Chicago with hot dogs or pizza but they have this street course thing figured out! We saw Noah Gragson in the tire barrier so many times that we renamed the event the Baconator 75 in honor Gragson and in recognition of NASCAR's omnipotence in determining the length of the race. Despite all the difficulties and debates of the weekend in Chicago, we were happy with the race we got out of it at the end of the day! Props to SVG's historical victory!
