Let's be honest - Modern media is killing what it means to be a kid. Screens have taken over the daily life of children in every way imaginable. The magic of being a kid is just not the same and, in many respects, completely gone. David and Katy spend some time reminiscing about their time as kids and discuss the lost art of childhood
Be angry and do not sin - a scripture that is quoted a ton, without a ton of understanding behind it. David and Katy discuss the common statistics about anger in our society and in our lives followed by a deep dive into this simple statement: It's okay to be angry, but it's not okay to mismanage your anger.
We live in a world that loves to tell everyone else how to live their lives. And while we judge others by their actions, we tend to judge ourselves by our intentions. The result is that how we see others pales in comparison to how we see ourselves. Its just not a fair standard. David and Katy discuss how to create proper expectations by first looking at ourselves with this simple idea: If we model it, they will do it.

To so many, successful people seem to have a sort of "mystique", especially around their habits and how they go about their daily lives. What is it that allows them to be so successful? How is it that they can accomplish so much, yet have so much time to do it all? These are all questions we've probably asked ourselves at one point or another. David and Katy breakdown a list of what successful people do differently in their daily lives and talk about how it isn't just relegated to a certain type of person, but is accessible to us all.
If you could have all of your needs and deficits met, but the only condition was to fully identify them and understand why they are there, could you do it? It's a fascinating scenario that begs the question, do we really know what we want? It seems like we can focus so much on the symptoms but never identify the root of what causes them. And to take it further, we can easily get caught in trying to help others without a full understanding of what it is they need help with. David and Katy discuss our deficits and insecurities and how we can identify them to find freedom and position ourselves to be a sold help for others around us.
