A dome, tiny home, trailer or mobile home, house, hut, tent, whatever. The point is that it is off grid and independent from all connections. The homestead option requires land. Land is often expensive and inaccessible to many. But, squadding on an unused piece of land is an option. No nation is yet filled to the brim with people.
