Despite pulling out of the coalition agreement between the Liberals and the NDP, Jagmeet Singh says he will continue to prop up the government and will not trigger an early election. What is he so afraid of? It’s becoming increasingly clear that it’s not only the Conservatives and Bloc Quebecois that want an election, Canadians do too.
Plus, the Canadian Taxpayers Federation revealed that dozens of federal departments have launched podcasts at the expense of taxpayers. Once salary expenses are factored in, these podcasts that nobody listens to have cost taxpayers millions of dollars.
And Joe Biden called Trump supporters “garbage.” Did Biden just help seal a win for the Republicans? We make our predictions for the US election!

Despite an attempt by several Liberal MPs to oust Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the prime minister insists the Liberal Party is “strong and united.” Is this really the case or is it just a matter of time before Trudeau is gone?
Plus, CBC CEO Catherine Tait shows how out of touch she is with Canadians. Appearing in committee this week, Tait defended the millions in bonuses to CBC executives and refused to say if she’ll accept a bonus this year as well. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, it’s time to defund the CBC.
And the Trudeau government is rolling out a formal Indigenous apology tour at national parks across Canada beginning with the wildfire-ravaged Jasper National Park.

Are we witnessing the end of days for the Trudeau government? It certainly seems that way with cabinet ministers announcing they won’t be running again and reports indicating that Liberal MPs plan to call on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to step down at their next caucus meeting. Despite Trudeau clinging onto the carbon tax, this punitive tax is one of the reasons the Liberals are so unpopular right now.
Plus, Trudeau claimed that former and current Conservative officials are implicated in foreign interference. But Pierre Poilievre says Trudeau is “lying.” Who’s telling the truth? Why won’t Trudeau just release the names of the alleged traitors?
And is Alberta Premier Danielle Smith’s leadership at risk? United Conservative Party members will have an opportunity to oust Smith at the party’s upcoming annual meeting.

This week, House Speaker Greg Fergus censored Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre for a day because Poilievre accused Foreign Affairs Minister Melanie Joly of appeasing supporters of Hamas. Unsurprisingly, Joly demanded an apology – but Canadians just need to look at the government’s actions since the deadly October 7th attack to judge for themselves if the Trudeau government has abandoned Canada’s traditional pro-Israel stance to appease terrorist sympathizers for political purposes. The leader of Hamas certainly thinks so – he even thanked Canada for its public stance.
Plus, the BC Conservatives seem to be gaining momentum as voters head to the polls in a little over a week. Leader John Rustad has proposed policies that are resonating with voters, including a push to deport pro-Hamas extremists and lifting the de facto ban on developing nuclear energy.
And it’s becoming increasingly clear that it wasn’t climate change that caused the Jasper wildfire, but rather massive incompetence and negligence on the part of the federal government.

In a desperate attempt to reach their unattainable net-zero goals, the Trudeau government wants to ban the sale of new gas and diesel vehicles by 2035. Despite all the corporate handouts by all levels of government, it’s becoming increasingly clear Canadians don’t want to drive electric vehicles. In fact, a new Leger poll commissioned by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation reveals that the majority of Canadians oppose the Trudeau government’s electric vehicle mandate.
Plus, the Trudeau Liberals have become so desperate to convince others that the carbon tax is sound policy, two Trudeau government ministers have offered a briefing to NDP leader Jagmeet Singh to once again get his support for the punitive tax that does nothing for the environment while pushing up the cost of living.
And the scandal involving Sustainable Development Technology Canada, a green organization founded by the government and accused of funding projects closely tied to its board of directors, continues to worsen. This week, House of Commons Speaker Greg Fergus ruled that the government defied the authority of Parliament by refusing to hand over documents pertaining to the scandal.

This week, CTV News was caught red-handed manipulating an interview of Pierre Poilievre to make it look like he wanted to trigger an election over dental care. In reality, Poilievre said he wanted a “carbon tax election.” This shouldn’t come as a surprise for those of us who know the legacy media can’t be trusted to report the truth.
Plus, surprise, surprise – the NDP and Bloc propped up the Trudeau Liberals again by voting against the Conservatives’ non-confidence motion, which would have triggered an election. Unsurprisingly, the legacy media would rather talk about a supposed “homophobic remark” made in the House of Commons.
And Premier Doug Ford didn’t mince words when talking to the homeless in his province, telling them to “get off your A-S-S” and get a job.

Canadians aren’t the only ones sick of the Trudeau government’s carbon tax. Even Jagmeet Singh and David Eby are pulling their support from the punitive tax that does nothing for the environment and has cost Canadians thousands of dollars. But don’t worry – Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault made a cringey video defending the tax…
Plus, Jagmeet Singh confronted a protester who appeared to call him a “corrupt bastard,” and NDP MP Charlie Angus says it’s all the Conservatives’ fault.
And the Canadian Armed Forces faces their toughest challenge since World War II: missing tampons mandated in men’s washrooms.

Donald Trump and Kamala Harris faced off for the first and possibly last Presidential Debate this week and the most-talked about moment was when Trump accused Haitian migrants of eating cats and dogs. Many users online insist that this is true despite fact checks from various media outlets claiming otherwise. What is happening in Springfield, Ohio? Is this a consequence of leftist mass immigration experiments?
Plus, has online gambling taken over the NHL? It certainly seems that way as gambling ads have dominated broadcasts and now, to make matters worse, the Edmonton Oilers announced that player jerseys and helmets would be emblazoned with gambling ads.
And after acting tough and pulling out of the coalition agreement with the Liberals, Jagmeet Singh has rejected Pierre Poilievre’s challenge to support a non-confidence vote and trigger an election.

Lagging poll numbers have made Prime Minister Justin Trudeau one of the most disliked prime ministers in Canadian history. But things got significantly worse for Trudeau this past week.
First, his political ally Jagmeet Singh broke up the NDP’s coalition agreement with the Liberals. While it still seems like Singh is going to prop up the government for the foreseeable future, the likelihood of an election has increased significantly.
Then a group of LGBTQ activists turned their backs on Trudeau, saying he has to step down in order to stop a Poilievre government from being elected.
And then Trudeau lost his own national campaign director, who allegedly told the prime minister that he can’t win a fourth term.

This week, BC United leader Kevin Falcon shocked the province by suspending the party’s campaign and endorsing the BC Conservatives. While the collapse of the party was likely caused by Falcon’s own actions, this move may stop the BC NDP from being re-elected in the next election.
“We’ll plant 2 billion trees over the next ten years. That’s it. That’s the tweet.” This is what Trudeau tweeted during the 2019 election. And surprise, surprise – the government isn’t anywhere close to fulfilling that promise.
Plus, does the Trudeau government want more people to smoke? It certainly seems that way after they banned nicotine pouches from convenience stores and gas stations across the country this week.
