Off the Rush

Episode lucky number seven. It was a terrific week of NHL hockey. The gang discusses the Lake Tahoe Outdoor games, the many reverse retro jerseys making their debuts last week (some looked better than others), and we had out our quarter season awards!

Hoskin regales us all in a tale of his first hockey experience in China during his three year stint living in the country. The gang also discusses their weekly beers of choice, and as always McPhail defends the mass produced domestics much to the rest of the team's dismay.

The boys are back and they have a special guest. Joining the podcast for this week's episode is Michael Chrobak, a Canadian living abroad that is part of a grass roots movement to bring hockey to Wellington New Zealand. Michael and his friends transformed a small make-shift rink in a warehouse into an almost full sized arena that now plays host to several adult leagues and youth programs.

The guys also re-cap the week that was in the NHL and discuss the beers currently occupying their fridges. It was a blast to record this show, enjoy!
