Bob is Deputy Chief Economist at First Trust Advisors, L.P., where he is responsible for forecasting the U.S. economy and writing economic commentaries. With Bob’s projections, First Trust has won numerous awards for its economic forecasts, including being ranked #1 in the world by Consensus Economics for accurately predicting GDP growth and Consumer Price Inflation in the United States in 2022. In addition, First Trust is consistently ranked in the top five by Bloomberg for forecasting economic indicators. Bob has also won several Crystal Ball Awards from Zillow for forecasting home prices. Prior to joining First Trust in 2006, Bob was Assistant Secretary for Economic Policy at the U.S. Treasury Department. While there, Bob was responsible for briefing the Secretary of the Treasury on U.S. macroeconomic developments, formulating policy proposals, and helping generate the official economic forecast used by the President for budget proposals. Day to day, he led a team of twenty economists conducting in-depth economic analysis and research.
Between 1996 and 2002, Bob was an economist on Capitol Hill, including the last two years (2001-02) as chief economist for the Senate Budget Committee. While on Capitol Hill, Bob also worked for the Senate Banking Committee and Joint Economic Committee. Prior to his tenure on Capitol Hill, Bob was an economic journalist for Investor’s Business Daily. Bob received a BA in both Economics and Government from Georgetown University. He has been a CFA charter holder since 2003.

After an 11-year career at Booz Allen Hamilton, she left industry to focus on raising her children and shift her life purpose towards philanthropy and impact. Now with grown children, she is fully focused on local philanthropy supporting the Northern Virginia area through Board membership and outreach.
She currently serves as Board Chair of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of DC whose mission is to ease the hardship of childhood illness on families. She has also served as Chair of their annual fundraising 5K event. During her tenure, she has raised on average $15k annually for the organization.
Meera also serves on the Board of the Community Foundation of Northern Virginia, whose mission is to advance equity through support of local philanthropy and community leadership and outreach. She currently serves on the Nominating Committee and Gala Committee. Meera served as Emcee of the 2022 “Raise the Region” Gala, which raised nearly $650,000 for the organization. She recently helped launch the Scholarship Fund for Northern Virginia, dedicated to supporting local students pursue higher education at a Virginia public college.
Most recently, Meera joined the Board of Educate Fairfax, the charitable foundation supporting Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS), whose mission is to engage the community to invest in educational excellence and prepare FCPS students for the future. Meera currently serves as the Lead of the Community Engagement Committee.
Meera was with Booz Allen Hamilton in Mclean, VA for 11 years, serving in roles of IT Project Manager and Business Analyst to develop web-based applications for internal company operations. For 2 years prior to that she worked at OneSoft Corporation in Mclean in the roles of IT Project Manager and Business Analyst to develop e-commerce websites for clients such as WeightWatchers.com.
Meera earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia and her MBA at George Mason University. She lives in Fairfax, VA with her husband, two sons, and one dog.

Bill retired in 2023 from Booz Allen Hamilton where he was Executive Vice President and Senior Partner. Under his leadership, Booz Allen’s Global Commercial business, became a recognized market leader, delivering cyber security consulting and incident response services to some of the most sophisticated clients in the world.
Prior to joining Booz Allen, Bill spent 26 years at Accenture, finishing his Accenture career as the Global Managing Director of Accenture Security. Bill also co-founded Virginia-based startup, SevenSpace, a pioneer in the nascent market for remotely delivered IT managed services. SevenSpace was acquired by Sun Microsystems in 2005.
