We have Canes Hockey! Two games have been played so far in Nashville, and the Canes prospects have already scored 14 goals. We dive a bit deeper into these games to see which players we've enjoyed watching and look ahead to some positional battles for training camp.

Speaking of training camp, it begins on Wednesday. We discuss the camp schedule and how you can watch the players practice.

We also bid farewell to Antti Raanta, who announced yesterday his retirement from the NHL. Though this past season was a bit rough, he was an excellent Hurricane and we wish him luck in the next chapter of his life.

Lastly, we take a closer look at prospect Jackson Blake, who is one of the prospects most likely to battle for a spot on the NHL roster this year.
