Steve Wynn teamed up with film director Brett Ratner to create the commercial announcing his new resort. A parody of its predecessor – which featured Steve standing on top of Wynn Las Vegas – the spot called for the legendary developer to climb 675 feet in the air and assume a mark at the tip of the building's signature swoop to introduce Encore to the world.

In February 2005, the commercial for Wynn Las Vegas made its debut during the Super Bowl. Steve Wynn, standing atop his new hotel, declared that Wynn was the only hotel in his career that he’d ever signed his name to. With those words, the world was introduced to the only Mobil Five Star, AAA Five Diamond, Michelin Five Red Pavilion award-winning casino resort in existence to this day.
