OFNT

Not a lot going on except rioting and fireworks. I did my best to dig up items I think you will find interesting.

I eschew politics and dive right into Tech News which was dominated this week by Apples World Wide Developers Conference Keynote. Fathers Day was last Sunday and I received a lot of tech goodies. Entertainment news was stark, but the use of blackface wasn't! Again there is not much going on in the podcasting world, and I wrap up with a rant.

Thanks for listening!

This is just a trailer for a new podcast I just launched. It's titled, "New Normal Opinions". Give this short trailer a listen. The first full episode is now live.

NBC and Google team up to try and demonetize a competitor. Pixel 4a delayed? Zoom and Chrome web store woes. Spotify continues its attempt to dominate podcasting but SiriusXM is making moves also. Amazon starts to awaken but is it too late?
I'm launching a new podcast called New Normal Opinions using Anchor.fm.

China is giving millions of dollars to big news publications to run deceiving 'advertisements'. Android 11 Beta is out and Apple has some announcements for the upcoming WWDC. Hollyweird continues to lecture the public and everybody seems to be forming a podcast network. I wrap up with a boomertastic rant.

Thanks for listening!

Give a listen to My Super Secret Podcast for a giggle...

I'm getting tired of wokeness and Antifa and it shows in this episode. I run down the usual tech and entertainment news, let you know about some tech I'm using, do a little news from the podcasting world and wrap it up with a little rant.

It's been a rough year so far and I'd like to think it will get better, but I have my doubts. In this episode, I have some news on Google's Messenger app getting end to end encryption which along with RCS, makes this a competitive solution with other messaging apps. Not to be outdone, Apple seems to be updating the macOS messages app to bring it the features that the IOS has. I have a little entertainment news and a bit of podcast news and wrap it up with an opinion on the current events.

Thanks for listening!

Listening back to this episode while editing, I thought I sounded a tad angry. Maybe the lockdown is really starting to get to me?
I cover some of Joe Rogan's move to Spotify, sing the praises of the Apple ecosystem, talk about the former 'King of All Media', throw in some tech news and wrap up with a rant.
Give a listen to another show I do, My Super Secret Podcast.

Thanks for listening and have a good holiday!

Geez, I really had to work this week to find things to talk about in my feeds. Anyhow, I've got a little tech news, a little tech I'm using, and really no entertainment news. Instead, I run down a couple of things I've watched. Podcasting news is also quiet these days, as to be expected. I wrap up this very short episode with a rant as usual.

Thanks for listening!

These short, extra episodes are updates on the pandemic and how it's impacting the area I live in.
