On this Palm Sunday, we conclude our sermon series "Life of Discipleship" by looking at the purposes of Jesus' arrival into Jerusalem. Rev. Shannon Blosser focuses our thoughts around Luke 19:29-40 and how Jesus arrived into Jerusalem to establish God's kingdom of peace.

This week, our sermon looks at John 12:1-8 and the story of Mary anointing Jesus prior to his entry into Jerusalem. Rev. Shannon Blosser looks at this act of anointing and how it is symbolic of expressing extravagant love towards God in response to God's extravagant love towards us.

This week, our sermon series on The Life of Discipleship continues with a focus on redemption. Rev. Shannon Blosser uses Luke 15:11b-24 to describe redemption as the being brought into a new life through God's love. He shares of how the father's love in the story of the Prodigal Son is akin to God's love for all.

Our Lenten series, the Life of Discipleship, resumes with a look at repentance. Rev. Shannon focuses on Luke 13:1-5 and Jesus' call to repent of our sin. He looks at why we struggle with repentance and what it means to turn towards God.

Our Lenten sermon series, The Life of Discipleship, continues on its journey with Jesus to Jerusalem. This week, Rev. Shannon focuses on Luke 13:31-35 and how Jesus encountered sorrow in his ministry and how we might respond to moments of pain about how we see the world in our own time.

Today is the First Sunday of Lent and we are beginning a new sermon series called "The Life of Discipleship." Throughout Lent, Rev. Shannon Blosser will focus on the moments that we often encounter in our journey of discipleship. The first moment is temptation. Based on Luke 4:1-13, Rev.
