After a couple of false starts, Natasha and Al, manage to get the episode off the ground, as they look back on week 1 in the NFL. Natasha recaps her 10K run, and tells us she is considering taking up curling.  Canadian-born Atlanta Brave Pitcher Mike Soroka reveals how he got into baseball, why he prefers to rely on his instincts when going up against hitters, and gives his take on the Blue Jays race to the postseason.

Natasha and Lindsay head east on a golf trip… but what does one do when their golf clubs don't make the trip?   While dealing with that, they update the FedEx Playoff and discuss the merits of the "Brooksie" ban, as well as  the limits of fan involvement within the sport of golf.  Later in the pod we get to know Lindsay a little better, from her upbringing to her first tv gig at the age of 13, and learn about her role models in real life and within the industry.
