Welcome to Oh La Peru - What To know Before You Go. I'm Betsy Rosenfeld Vargas. I'm an LA girl, a former television producer, an independent for travel advisor, and the woman behind the blog, ohlalima.com. My husband is half Peruvian, we own a home on Peru's northern coast, and I've spent more than 15 years traveling there. I love an adventure. I also love a beautiful room, a great meal, and knowing when the upgrade is actually worth it. Because having high standards doesn't mean you enjoy wasting money.
