Despite her difficult childhood and never experiencing the love of her father, Ruth found the love of her heavenly father and spent a lifetime coming alongside God at work and saying “Yes, Lord” when He called her. The war between the heart and the head took Jeffrey through several decades of searching for truth before he ultimately re-discovered Jesus as the love of his life. After his Confirmation as a teen in the Catholic church he rebelled by exploring Satanism and continued along a path that included LSD - Hinduism - Psychedelic Mushrooms - US Military - Insight Transformational Seminars - Atheism - Agnosticism - Hari Krishna - Buddha in the Marketplace - Guru’s - Dreams - Ayahuasca. While these experiences provided enlightenment from the outside, the chase for the next revelation was taking a toll on his life & relationships and he still felt something missing inside. When Jeffrey finally surrendered to God, he knew that he didn’t have to do anything to earn salvation and his striving was over. Hear how God kept pursuing Jeffrey through all of his experimentation, even when Jeffrey ignored his own heart cries for love.  Today, Jeffrey knows Jesus to be the love that he was seeking his whole life; the one who he can experience in the quiet moments.

Growing up in the church, Enid had always believed in God but didn’t hear from him until an unexpected pregnancy at age 41. Hear how her encounter with God in her bedroom closet started her journey of acceptance of the Down Syndrome diagnosis she had received. This gave her the ability to grieve the daughter she thought they were going to have and she found a peace in accepting the reality. We talk about the stress of her daughter's infant heart surgery and about how God fully equipped her to be the mother He had called her to be. Laurence and Melanie lived overseas for many years, until struggles with infertility brought them back to the states. After 10+ years of treatments, doctors and miscarriage, they questioned whether they were meant to be parents.
