We need to face the reality of situations and circumstances in our lives. Pretending things aren't happening or aren't affecting us doesn't help us move forward or walk in a place of emotional health. When we are honest we can then gain the perspective that  helps us to see and know truth.  

I'm sure we've all heard of boundaries in one way or another but do we actually use them in our lives the way that they were intended? By having proper boudaries you help define relationships and show those around you honor and love. So let's talk about what this looks like.

Many of us are so used to being 'independent" that we don't know how to be in community let alone the value of it. And maybe that's the very place you've been hurt the most, within community. When life happens it can effect our future behavior and responses. Have the trials you've faced caused you to respond differently out of protection or are you able to still extend your hand in friendship in spite of how the last one ended? 

There are times where our life can look and even feel like anything but good. And yet, it may just be those times where we are being put in a place we need to be for our good and our healing, that we can experience goodness like never before. Experincing goodness may not look or feel like we expect it to so let's find out how to recognize it.

There is a difference between comfort and familiar. But do we recongize places we are stuck or have they just become so familiar we mistake them for comfort!

It's inevitable that we will encounter disappointments throughout our lives. What if instead of trying to avoid them by not imagining the possibilities ahead of us, we accepted them as part of life and acknowledged them for what they are- disappointing!
