What happens when two people share a love story but remember it differently? In this episode of Oh, Anu!, I revisit a chapter of my life through my own eyes and an imagined version of his. From unexpected connections and first kisses to Christmas lights, little promises, and the things we never quite said, this is a story about love, letting go, and everything that remains unsaid when a relationship ends. Because sometimes, a story can end without making the moments that mattered any less real.
Why is female friendship so often portrayed as competition? From “girls are jealous of each other” to constantly comparing looks, relationships, careers and success, women are taught to see each other as rivals.
In this episode, we talk about women’s friendships, the pressure to compete, and why society treats men’s friendships so differently. Because while men can simply be “bros,” women are often expected to be each other’s competition.
A conversation about friendship, insecurity, solidarity, growing together and what happens when we stop seeing other women as threats.
Somewhere between nostalgia, romance, imagination and a little bit of madness… I found myself in a rather unexpected situation. 😂
This episode is a little confession, a little chaos, and a lot of “wait… how did this even happen?”
Come, let's talk. ❤️

In Episode 4 of *Oh, Anu!*, I share six of my unpopular opinions, from why you don't have to like everyone and why it's okay to change your mind, to politics, divorce, feminism, and dating in your late 30s and 40s. A light, honest and slightly controversial conversation about relationships, growing up, and living life on your own terms.
What happens when one mother has to carry the weight of two parents? In this episode, I talk about the realities, sacrifices, strength, and quiet struggles of single mothers and how their journey shapes the children they raise. A personal story that becomes a larger conversation about motherhood, resilience, and the strength we often take for granted.
A little story about making a mistake at work, overthinking it, panicking about the consequences, and eventually realising that maybe one mistake doesn’t define us. A candid, slightly funny take on work, accountability, embarrassment, and learning to be kinder to ourselves.
Why did I start a podcast? A little about me, the different versions of myself I've lived through, and what I hope Oh, Anu! will become. Books, life, love, parenting, starting over, random thoughts and everything in between, in English, Hindi and Malayalam.
