Respect is earned by not tolerating disrespect and ill treatment. Respect is demonstrated by how someone responds to a situation in which they or their organization mistreated someone. Black people may be the most disrespected group of people on earth, and it is simply because WE allow it. We are quick to confront our own, but have developed an inferior complex that discourages us from confronting others. I will not participate or contribute to that inferiority complex. I hope you all won't either.

There is a huge difference between "Mental Health" and "The Mental Health Agenda." The Agenda is BS and is similar to most businesses, the emphasis is not on the safety and wellbeing of the consumer; But instead on how the company can sell their product and make as much profit as possible. Although "The Lion King" is one of our childhood favorites, perhaps it would have been better if we watched it at a more mature age. The lessons taught in the movie, are direct parallels to what has and is happening in America! We are living in a time in which our men are being emasculated and the results are horrendous for our younger generations. But should we be surprised? Not if we paid closer attention to what "The Lion King" was actually showing us!

This is a tough one! I just discussed last week how we shouldn't put faith in our athletes/entertainers to accept the responsibility of the best purpose for the overall People. And now this week, I made that same mistake! At the end of the day, WE missed out a once in a lifetime opportunity with Deion leaving JSU. There's only one Deion and he had the unique ability to elevate every aspect of HBCUs just by his mere presence. It was/is on all of us to make sure he stays!
