Mikey Phillips asks, “what’s the one thing that if you could wave a magic wand would make video editing easier?”
Jacob McCourt asks, “If you could have a Pokemon game in any genre, what would be? As a big fan of Super Mario Strikers, I would love to see a Pokemon “Sports Mix” title where you take Pokemon and their respective powers into sports games.”
Xyger emails us, “Hey guys, I LOVE Halo, it’s one of my favorite game series of all time, and the recent Halo Infinite Teaser Trailer has me super excited.
However, I’m a little worried about how Halo Infinite will go about it’s storytelling. For context, Halo infinite will take place 3 years after the events of Halo 5. Spoilers for Halo 5, but the game ends on a cliffhanger as the universe is held at gunpoint by Cortana and her Guardians.
In that time, lots of things happened in the universe. Halo Wars 2 happens for example, which features The Banished, and the game ends with the creation of a New Halo Ring, which gets intercepted by one of Cortana’s Guardians and ends on a cliffhanger. The Banished and the ring were featured in this new teaser trailer.
Not only that, but the events in the books such as Bad Blood revolving around Buck and the ODST squad (minus Rookie for obvious reasons), the events of Shadows of Reach (which the book hasn’t come out yet but supposedly leads into Infinite) also play a HUGE part in the universe.
    My question is,

  • A Conversation on Privilege, Empathy, and #BlackLivesMatter – OK Beast Podcast
Hey everyone. We’ve got a bit of a different OK Beast Podcast episode for you this week. Instead of our usual video game-focused show, Ian and Alex sat down to have a conversation on everything happening the past couple of weeks regarding George Floyd, protests surrounding #BlackLivesMatter, and as two white men, how we’re personally trying to become better allies to the Black community through empathy, listening, and ultimately, accountability.
We say it during the episode, but this isn’t a “Holier than Thou” situation, but rather an open conversation about how we’re trying to make change happen. Towards the end of our conversation, we highlighted more Black creators who produce awesome gaming-focused content, and we implore you to check them out below.
We’ll see you next week for a more gaming-focused episode. Thanks for listening!

Ryan Othman asks, “Would you rather be able to pause time and play video games (or do whatever really) for as long as you want with no repercussions or have the ability to teleport anywhere at anytime?”
Xyger asks, “If, hypothetically, PlayStation doesn’t have a system in place to match Xbox’s Smart Delivery, do you think third party developers will support cross gen purchases? Similar to Activision in the time between 360/PS3 to One/PS4? CoD & Destiny were cross buy for example.Obviously not every third party would, but I feel like companies who want good faith like CDPR & Ubisoft might allow Cross gen purchases for the first year or so, similar to how EA is handling the next Madden game.If this were to happen; I feel like this will look bad on Sony.”
Cly asks, “If you got to name a country, what would you name it?”
