  • S1:E5 - So... We're starting over?

    Episode 5: So… We're Starting Over?

Apparently, being an adult means you can spend years building a life, finally get comfortable, and then wake up one morning wondering if you want to change the whole fucking thing.

This week, we're talking about starting over at an age when we thought we'd have everything figured out. Changing careers, moving across the country, going back to school, leaving relationships, rebuilding after loss, and the weird embarrassment that comes with admitting the original plan might not be the plan anymore.

We're getting into the fear of becoming a beginner again, why familiarity can keep us stuck, the grief that sometimes comes with good changes, and how starting over doesn't always involve some dramatic life-altering decision. Sometimes it's just updating your résumé, saving money, opening seventeen browser tabs, and quietly figuring out what the hell comes next.

Because maybe starting over isn't about going back to square one. Maybe it's about taking everything you've learned and building something that actually fits the person you've become.

Okay, but hear me out… what if starting over isn't failing at all? 🎙️❤️

  • S1:E4 - So...we're adults now?

    Episode 4: So… We're Adults Now?

At what point were we supposed to have our shit together? Because I'm 39, and I'm still waiting for someone to explain who put us in charge.

This week, we're talking about getting older, the timelines we thought we'd follow, changing careers, starting over, outgrowing people and places, and realizing that the life we imagined at 21 might not be the life we actually want.

We're also getting into the less glamorous parts of adulthood: getting excited about canceled plans, developing strong opinions about pillows, making noises when we stand up, and discovering that a good night's sleep is apparently a personality trait now.

There's some humor, a little nostalgia, some hard truths about loss and growing up, and a reminder that changing your mind doesn't mean you've failed.

Because maybe adulthood isn't about finally having everything figured out. Maybe it's about realizing there was never an instruction manual in the first place.

Okay, but hear me out… we're the adults now?! 🎙️❤️

  • S1:E3 - So...We're still friends right?

Making friends as an adult is weird, and keeping them? Apparently, that's a whole different adventure. 😂

This week, we're talking about friendships that last decades, friendships that become family, the people who show up when life falls apart, and the ones who somehow disappear when you need them most.

We're getting into loyalty, distance, growing apart, betrayal, grief, and why losing a friendship can hurt just as much as losing a romantic relationship. And, of course, the beautiful chaos of finding your people in the most unexpected places.

Because sometimes friendship means growing together, sometimes it means letting go, and sometimes it means picking up right where you left off after six months of not talking.

Okay, but hear me out… we're still friends, right? 🎙️❤️

  • S1:E2 - So...this is dating now?

Dating in 2026 is freaking weird.

We know more about strangers than ever while somehow knowing absolutely nothing about them. There are dating apps, read receipts, attachment styles, fish pictures, premature pet names, unsolicited sexual comments, and apparently enough psychological analysis available online to diagnose someone because they took four hours to text back.

This week, we’re talking about all of it: dating apps, the ick vs. actual red flags, texting yourself into an imaginary relationship, boundaries, rejection, standards, communication, online dating safety, and why someone being perfectly nice doesn’t mean you have to want them.

Because maybe dating isn’t completely broken. Maybe people have always been messy, and technology just gave the mess Wi-Fi.

So… is this dating now? Apparently. Let’s talk about it

  • S1: E1 - I have some SHIT to say.

We’re starting this reboot exactly how we intend to continue: with opinions, tangents, questionable levels of confidence, and absolutely no promise that any of this is going somewhere productive.

In the first episode of the new Okay But Hear Me Out, Brittany gets comfortable behind the microphone and talks about the completely ordinary things that somehow inspire wildly disproportionate feelings. Adulthood, social expectations, everyday annoyances, things people do that make absolutely no sense, and yes even fitted sheets.

It’s part essay, part rant, part “why are we like this?” and the official beginning of a podcast where no topic is too small to have an unnecessarily strong opinion about.

No lesson. No expert advice. No inspirational takeaway.

Just one woman, one microphone, and some shit to say.

Okay, but hear me out. <3
