Welcome to the 9th episode of Okay Takes, the podcast that is just okay in this polarizing world we find ourselves living in today. It’s official the Bucks have reached the promised land after Giannis dropped a 50 burger on the Suns in game 6. Deer District had 65,000 plus in attendance and looked better than Coachella even though there was only one porta potty being offered (1:15-5:24) After coming up short in the playoffs multiple times, Giannis decided to stay loyal to the Bucks and boy did that pay off (5:24-11:02) Giannis’ Game 6 50 burger was a performance that will be remembered for generations to come(11:02-16:12) Jrue Holiday did enough to win and that’s all that matters(16:12-18:53) Just for comedic effect the boys added salt in the wounds to super teams that came up short (18:53-20:21) Bobby Portis put up 16 points and won the heart of NBA fans in the process (20:21-25:19) The Finals were so great that they broke Matt’s brain and turned him into a bumbling idiot, but that’s okay.

First, we got the BBQ chicken award which is awarded to the player most likely to get cooked all series( 0:42). Next on board is the JR Smith award which goes to the player who will have the biggest mental blunder within the last moments of a game akin to JR in game 1 of the 2018 Finals(3:30). Third, is the Scottie Pippen Memoire award that will be awarded to the player who is most likely to leverage a phenomenal finals performance into a memoire and on the promotion tour burn every bridge imaginable(6:35).
