在此，我們就來溫習一下詢問「現在幾點?」的兩種說 法。What time do you have?直譯出來就是「你現在有幾點?」，但它其實是「你的錶現在幾點?」的意思。不過，這種說法比較麻煩，所以只要記得 What time is it? 就夠了。 
另外，Do you have the time?是「現在幾點?」的意思， 與此類似但意思完全不同的是Do you have time?(你有空嗎?)，要區分清楚，下次如果有人問你Do you have some time?，可千萬不要說出像Oh， yes. It's 10 o'clock. 這類牛頭不對馬嘴的回答來! 
詢問時間的方法還有以下幾種: 
What's the time now? 
What time is it by your watch? 
Pardon me?和I beg your pardon.一樣，與Excuse me.同 義。句尾的語調上揚，就是「請你再說一次。」，語調下降， 則是「對不起。」的意思。
