小常識
美國的醫藥分業做得很徹底，只要有醫生的處方箋就能買到各式各樣的藥品。當然，不管哪個國家，藥局(drugstore)最大的功能就是賣藥，但是美國的藥局除了藥品之外，還販賣文具、雜誌、雜貨，甚至可以沖洗照片。有些藥局還會在店內附設咖啡座，讓客人坐下來喝杯咖啡，吃點東西。藥局對旅行者十分方便，平時不妨留意一下店的位置，以備不時之需。美國的藥局什麼都賣，是名副其實的便利商店。

大補帖
要表達「幫我買~」，用buy me~就可以了，例如:
I'll buy you lunch today.
(今天我請你吃午飯。)
I bought her a nice present for her birthday.
(我幫她買了一個很棒的生日禮物。)
 
買底片的時候，只會說film(底片)一個字還不夠，你還 必須知道24 exposures(二十四張)或36 exposures(三十 六張)的說法。至於沖洗照片，說法如下:
Please develop this film.
(請幫我沖洗這卷底片。)
Please develop and print them.
(請幫我沖印這卷底片。)
I want to make copies of these prints.
(我要加洗這些照片。)
