You don’t have to disappear to become the person you want to be.
There’s a growing trend online telling us to “lock in,” disappear for six months, cut everyone off, stop posting, and come back completely unrecognizable. And while taking time away can be useful, I don’t think disappearing is the ultimate proof of discipline.
If you have to remove every possible distraction before you can focus, perhaps the bigger thing to work on is your discipline.
Because real focus isn’t the absence of distraction. It’s the ability to remain focused in the presence of it.
You will always have people around you. You will always have social media, notifications, opportunities, relationships, noise, and things competing for your attention. At some point, you have to learn how to pursue what matters to you without needing to completely remove yourself from the world.
Maybe you don’t need to disappear.
Maybe you need to learn how to stay and still get the work done.
In this video, I’m sharing my thoughts on the “disappear and come back unrecognizable” mentality, discipline, focus, distraction, and tips to help you stay locked in the presence of all the noise and distractions.
If you’ve ever felt like you need to completely disappear before you can make progress, this one is for you.

We’ve been taught that as creatives, we should always be creating.
Create when you’re sad. Create when you’re angry. Create when you’re happy. Create even when you have nothing left to give.
And somewhere along the way, taking a break started to feel like failure.
But creativity doesn’t always come from pressure. Sometimes, the best thing you can do for your craft is step away from it.
In this video, I’m talking about the guilt creators often feel when they’re not posting, producing, or constantly sharing their work. I’m also questioning the idea that we always have to create, and why knowing when to stop can be just as important as knowing when to create.
Your audience connects with you through what you make and what you choose to share. So rather than creating just to stay visible, I think we should care more about creating things that actually have something to say.
You don’t have to force yourself to create just because you feel like you should.
Sometimes, you need to rest. Sometimes, you need to live. Sometimes, you need to experience something before you can turn it into something meaningful.
And yes, it’s okay to take a break from your creativity.
The important thing is learning to recognise when you need one.
If you’re a creative who has ever felt guilty for slowing down, I hope this gives you a different way to look at your relationship with your craft.

Hey, its been a while…
i took a break because i needed it. But recently, i’ve been thinking about how we enter life with so much to learn and so little understanding of the world around us. We watch our parents, observe the adults in our lives, imitate their behaviours, absorb their beliefs, and gradually become people shaped by the world we grow up in. Through curiosity, experience, observation, and socialisation, we begin to understand who we are and how we are expected to exist.
But how much of who we become is truly our own choice, and how much of it have we simply learned from the people and systems around us?
As we grow older, life begins to reveal a different reality. The freedom we once imagined adulthood would bring comes with bills, responsibilities, expectations, uncertainty, and an endless list of things to worry about. There is always something to figure out, something to prepare for, something to care about, or something demanding our attention.
And somewhere along the way, we begin to question whether life is actually supposed to be fun.
Perhaps life was never meant to be an endless pursuit of happiness. Perhaps it is simply something we are here to experience, navigate, understand, and live. Fun is wonderful, joy is necessary, and happiness matters, but none of them is guaranteed to be a permanent state of existence.
Life isn’t necessarily meant to be fun. Life is meant to be lived.
What that life looks like, however, is a decision we must learn to make for ourselves. We get to decide what matters to us, what we want to pursue, what we are willing to sacrifice, and what kind of meaning we want to give our existence.
In this video, I reflect on growing up, the way we are socialised into becoming who we are, the realities of adulthood, and the freedom that comes with deciding what we want to make of our lives.
Maybe the question isn’t whether life is supposed to be fun. Maybe the better question is: What kind of life do you want to live?
Let’s talk about it.

Fashion has never been more accessible.
Today, it feels like one or two out of every five people you know is either planning to start a fashion business, already selling clothes, or thinking about turning their passion for fashion into a business. Social media has made it incredibly easy to enter the industry, but accessibility does not automatically equal sustainability.
And this is where I think a lot of people get it wrong.
Having a passion for fashion does not automatically mean you should start a fashion business. Wanting more clothes, loving styling, or enjoying shopping is not the same thing as understanding how to build and sustain a fashion brand.
Fashion is a business, and building one requires much more than simply making clothes and putting them up for sale.
You need a clear understanding of who you are selling to, what problem you’re solving, what makes your brand different, what your story is, and where you want the business to go. You need a mission, a vision, defined goals, a strong brand identity, and a strategy for communicating all of that to the right audience.
After being around fashion for about nine years, I’ve observed how many people rush into the industry without really understanding what they’re getting themselves into. They invest money, time, energy and resources into businesses they haven’t properly planned and eventually find themselves frustrated because passion alone isn’t enough to sustain a fashion business.
Fashion can demand a lot from you financially, creatively and personally. It requires commitment, constant learning, adaptability and, above all, direction.
So in this video, I’m talking about how to actually get into fashion and, more importantly, how to build a fashion business that can thrive in an increasingly saturated industry.
I’ll be sharing practical ideas and strategies for anyone considering entering fashion, including:
• How to determine whether starting a fashion business is actually right for you
• Why passion for fashion isn’t enough
• How to define your target audience
• Why your brand needs a clear identity and story
• How to develop your mission, vision and goals
• Why understanding the fashion industry matters before investing heavily
• How to differentiate yourself in an increasingly saturated market
• Why you need to think beyond simply making and selling clothes
• How to approach fashion strategically rather than emotionally
• What it means to actually be fashion-forward as a business
• How to build with intention instead of rushing into the industry
The fashion industry doesn’t need more people simply selling clothes. It needs people with ideas, perspective, creativity, strategy and a reason to exist.
You can enter fashion, but don’t rush into it blindly.
Because if you rush into fashion, you might just rush right back out.

Because the goal isn’t just to look good.
It’s to look like you.
Let’s talk about finding your personal style, dressing with intention, and making your wardrobe feel like an extension of your personality.

Fashion has never been more accessible.
With social media, we have access to endless fashion inspiration at our fingertips. We see creators styling clothes, putting together outfits, setting trends and naturally, we want to recreate what we see.
But here’s the problem: what looks good on someone else may not necessarily work for you.
Style isn’t about copying every fashionable thing you see online. It’s about understanding yourself, your body, proportions, personality, lifestyle, and what genuinely makes you feel confident.
In this video, I break down the things you need to understand to become a truly fashionable and stylish person, while avoiding the common mistakes that happen when we blindly replicate what we see online.
Watch till the end, and let’s talk about developing a personal style that actually feels like you

hiya 🙋🏾
it’s been a while.
i’ve not felt like myself in a minute. hence, i haven’t posted, and this particular video has been shelved for sometime now.
-
but it’s finally time to let it out. because, we sometimes put ourselves in uncomfortable situations, out of loyalty and devotion to others who might not do the same when tables are turned. yet, we set remarkable boundaries with others.
-
the difference is your perception of each person in your life. you place so much value on one person and you overlook your feelings when the hurt comes from them. but with others, your edges are sharper than blade.
-
you prolly don’t see yourself as a people pleaser. perhaps, you think you’re just compromising for someone you love. this is why i explained the concept of people pleasing and how it’s totally different from people pleasing.

We’re often taught to chase happiness, to believe that once we get the right job, the right relationship, the right amount of money, or finally achieve that one thing, we’ll be happy. But what happens when we make happiness our only goal?
In this video, we explore why it’s important to stop treating happiness as the ultimate goalpost and start making room for the full range of human emotions. Sadness, anger, disappointment, fear, confusion & even boredom are all part of being human. And sometimes, suppressing these emotions in the name of “staying positive” can take us further away from the very happiness we’re trying so hard to find.
Maybe the goal isn’t to always be happy; it’s to become comfortable with feeling everything.
Watch, reflect, and let’s talk about it. 💭✨
What emotion do you think you need to get more comfortable with?

So many of us grow up believing that one day, one person will arrive and make everything better; the perfect partner, the perfect friend, the perfect mentor, the perfect opportunity.
But what if that belief is keeping us from seeing what’s already in front of us?
It’s easy to become so focused on finding “the one” who will love us, validate us, or change our lives that we overlook the people, opportunities, and inner strength we already have. We often wait for rescue while our own lives are quietly asking us to participate in them.
This isn’t about giving up on love or meaningful relationships. It’s about learning not to postpone your life while waiting for someone else to complete it.
If you’ve ever felt like your happiness depends on another person, this is for you.

This is a bonus episode. It’s meant to be simultaneously insightful and entertaining; you would hear a calm background sound. A sound of me sketching and doodling my illustration. And you’d also hear me briefly speaking about how I’ve tried and fail multiple times. Enjoy **
