The future of Okoboji is secure through our phenomenal area youth!. 25 students from Okoboji, Spirit Lake & Lake Park schools were accepted into the Youth In Philanthropy program with the Okoboji Foundation. Working hard in monthly meetings...learning the needs of non profits & organizations in the Iowa Great Lakes and raising $48,000 to address the needs of our region. Foundation President, Mindy Gress is very proud of the work and dedication of these students and the impact they will have on Okoboji.

Good news for Dickinson County Non-Profits, schools and other entities. The Dickinson County Endowment Fund has given 1.4 Million dollars out since 2006 and the time is now to apply for those dollars. Council Advisor, Ann Ditsworth has the details of who is eligible to apply and how they go about the process as well as when those requests must be in.
