This Sunday is the 3rd Sunday of Advent and we will look intently at the life of Joseph. In fact, I hear Jesus' half brother James may pay us a visit, and share some family insights! We’re beginning a short series called “Portraits of the Holy Family …your family”. I’ll be focusing on Matthew 1:18-2:23. This is your invitation to benefit from reading it in advance, if you can. With growth came challenges for the early church. We continue, from our bird’s-eye-view, to learn from the early church and apply the lessons to ourselves. Particularly practical and relevant is how the early church guarded her priorities, worked through challenges together, and further facilitated her mission. Read through Acts 6:1-7, if you can. Regardless, join us this Sunday @ 9 or 11 am, the first Sunday of Advent, as we join together in worship in song, prayer and invite God’s word to instruct us!

Where does courage to obey and follow Him come from?
