When it comes to re-arranging life, most people are inclined to say they like things as they are - furniture, schedule, finances, seat in the worship center. At some point in our lives, we decided whether intentionally or not, what our priorities were going to be and things kind of settled in. As we jump into chapter 3, Paul continues to build on the groundwork he's laid in the previous two chapters, imploring the listeners to put Jesus in His rightful place.
We're almost through Colossians, but don't sleep on this week! The end of chapter 3 is an often quoted passage, with some very good principles for a follower of Jesus. Come ready this weekend to consider your posture in all aspects of life.
Pray. Pray. Pray. What kinds of opportunities would we make ourselves available to if we asked God use us? And when we ask God to give us opportunities, we better be prepared to proclaim what He reveals to us as clear as possible. This was Paul's message to the church in Colosse and this is the message for us today!
