Old Man Blerd - A Black Nerd Podcast

John and Terrance are back!  A health emergency with John derailed the pod for a bit, but we're back with some ramblings and such!

The usual rambling on all subjects and thanks for your patience!

We recorded this awhile ago and may not have uploaded episode 24!  You'd think we weren't professionals or something! (Oh, yeah, WE AREN'T!)

We discuss whether you can separate the art from the artist, all of those problematic sorts that create entertainment for us.

Terrence and John get together to discuss their top 5 "RIDE OR  DIE!" properties!  These are the lads' top-tier properties that they'll give a chance, REGARDLESS of how many times they have been burned!

These properties span sci-fi, TV, comics, genres, and more; you know, the stuff you would see or read and may be the only one in the theater or have to special order.

Terrence and John delve into black actors and creators of horror!  What are some of the must-see films?

Being black in America has its trials and tribulations; horror allows for storytelling within the experience.  It's a way not to have to dwell in the darkness with some fun and excitement!

Also, because this was AWHILE ago, some Fantastic Four talk!

Please like, subscribe and join us for this horror hootenanny!

Terrence and John are back with a BUNCH of opinions—some hot takes and some lukewarm ones, too!

The Blerd lads ramble as they are wont to do! Follow along...IF YOU DARE! (ooh!  ominous!)

This episode ended up all about horror.  Black people in it, watching it, dying early or late.

John and Terrance go through their favorites and give flowers to the late great Tony Todd!

We have lists because N(Bl)erds love lists! Check out some of the titles we reference.

Like and subscribe if you could. We'd sure appreciate it!

We're back again with more ramblings.  This time a bit about what neurodic\versity is and ISN'T in comics and other world at large.

Both Terrance and John's daughter were diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and now that the world at large has a term for folks with these traits, it might be interesting to look at characters in fiction with some of these same traits.
