Ahhhh the 70’s. Such a great time to be a kid in Bridgeport. Great music on WAKO, cold nights walking into the gym for a great RHHS band and fun basketball, riding bikes all over town.  So in that spirit we take a look at all what was going on in the 1977-78 school year.  Lots of snow, some dramatic school board activities and evidently lots of Rated R movies at the drive in. The 1987 Baseball team was one of the legendary teams in the rich hardball tradition of RHHS.  Coach Evans’ squad was lead by a strong group of seniors and joined by a group of underclassmen to make up a solid rotation as well as a potent lineup.  Nicknamed the Cardiac Kids for their penchant for come from behind, late inning victories they tasted the high of a thrilling semi-final win over Lawrenceville with back to back home runs and the utter heartbreak in the finale vs Mt. Carmel.
