This week we sat down with the director of the Asotin County Library, Jennifer Ashby. We were so impressed with everything the staff at the ACL does for this community, and will definitely be attending some of the events they put on. We learned a lot about the library, and it was way cooler than that will ever sound. Be sure to find out how you can become a library volunteer by emailing [email protected] and asking how you can help.
We were so excited to talk with Coco and Karl Umiker of the 2020 Pacific Northwest Winery of the Year, Clearwater Canyon Cellars. We covered their connection to the land, and what got them started making wine. Karl even tells us a bit about his experience with the Palouse Earthworm. They have an obvious passion for wine making and shared love for the LCV.
Drew and Brian discuss their time at Lewis-Clark State College including research experience and trips abroad. This week we sat down with our friend Skate Pierce to discuss how the Covid-19 pandemic has affected his business at Hogan’s Pub as well as his understanding of the situation from the viewpoint of a Clarkston City Council member.
