By May 4th forecasters were well aware that a full force July level heatwave would overtake parts of the Midwest starting Monday May 9th and lasting at least through Wednesday May 11th and possibly the remainder of the week through Saturday May 14th. On the Podcast "Weather With Enthusiasm" (a different version than this one) podcasts covering this heatwave started on May 4th. From May 4th through May 11th there were 14 podcasts made.
