How beautiful that the Mysterious, Loving Creator of all doesn't need us to prove their existence, but eternally invites us to live our lives rooted into love... There is not "one special group" because we are all special ,and not special at the exact same time. ... My faith is not based on needed "proving", but on the necessity of living and loving...

The Hebrew Scriptures can paint an image of God that is wrathful... the miracle in these scriptures is when individuals are able to break through the wrathful narrative and finally notice the God that we actually have: Love. Humble. Non-violent. Does not make people afraid....

A look at "how we see"... How Jesus was able to seek out those struggling with "uncovered eyes" and truly see, because he was rooted in his inner relationship with God/Love.. his "authority" was not an outer force trying to control, but an "inner force" of love longing to heal and connect with people, gifting a new and loving image of God...

Diving into the sacred questions Jesus asks... Diving into pondering "Prophets" as Truth Tellers, who finally allow themselves to critique the stories they had been handed by culture and by religion and call out the lies, the greed, the corruption.... Jesus, after healing those that culture and religion through away and demonized by loving them into their wholeness said: Happy is anyone who does not take offence at me"... Happy is anyone who longs to care for everyone...

Pondering how often we get stuck in an idea of God that looks like wrath and violence and threat an how in this season of Advent we are invited to unlearn this way of thinking, that we might be able to turn towards love that we might recognize God... our called calling us to turn our hearts towards our children, to new ways of seeing and knowing... to T-SHUVA, or "repent", which means to turn towards love, that we might notice who God has always been: Love, Compassion, Mercy...

In the Christian story, the women are finally able to lean into what had always been true: they have a voice! They are beloved! They are full participants in the story of Love, of God unfolding.... they are not an after thought, they are not there for back ground chores, but as full participants and Mary and Elizabeth exclaim this with a loud cry, giving full voice out of all those years of being silenced... .

Being willing to enter and live out a new image of God... a story leading away from the often wrathful and greedy human ego, towards our God who is LOVE, there is no fear and wrath in our Great Creator, only ever present Love, hoping will will notice, and hoping we will begin to create non-violent, loving, inclusive images of "heaven".....

Allowing myself to practice noticing our God who is love, who is tender and compassionate, merciful and ever sustaining... our God who invites us into our lives, rooted in love, giving us rest for our souls...

Exploring how extremely important it is to begin to notice the image of God that we are holding onto... the image of an all mighty, all controlling, petty God has lead us to where we are in a very cruel world.... the Gos who invites us unto life, the God we actually have comforts, loves, nourishes, seeks us to love us into loving... to set us free as we realize my freedom doesn't depend in anyone else losing theirs... we all shall be free... may we be willing to allow God/Love to change our minds, or hearts from a God of cruelty to a God of Love...

Today I follow the lead from Mother Mary and ponder words of Love within my heart..... shifting from an image of God rooted in fear that makes us feel we need to hide, towards the image of God of Love who says to us: you are God's favoured and Love longs to be born through you (God says the same to everyone!).. from here Mary finds herself... "Here I am!"..... and she lives into a new deeply human story for her life....
