John 16:33 says, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." In your life there will be trials; there will be times when you feel like giving up, but Jesus gave His life so that you may overcome. Take comfort in knowing you are not alone in the Battle, because God has not forgotten you. Yet He has sent His son before you, Jesus Christ, who has already conquered the fight.

Often times we get discouraged because the situation we're in doesn't look how we imagined. But Joshua 1:9 says, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." God has not left you alone in your trial. He is preparing you for the seed He is going to plant, but you must be patient in your waiting and faithful in your walk. And although your beginning may be seem like a disaster, your ending is in His hands and it’s full of promise.

Don't give up what you want most in life for something you think you want now. Romans 7:20 says, “Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.” Your thoughts become your words, your words lead to your actions, and your actions become your habits. In order to tame sin there must be something living on the inside of you that is greater than the outside cares of the world. That something is Jesus. We must be disciplined in our walk to choose healthy habits, which will lead to consistency in all aspects of our lives. Is Christ inside of you greater than what you want right now? The choice is yours.

Do your words have life-giving qualities or life-taking qualities?Proverbs 18:21 says, "The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit." We can choose to produce words that bring life or death, and since what we say really matters, we have to watch the fruit we've been eating from. Life-taking words have the power to not only damage, but to potentially destroy any relationship in our lives. Instead be around life-giving people, who are willing to build others up so they can reach their full potential!

Stinking thinking can lead to dirty living! Now that I have your attention, what are you thinking? The enemy will present you with negative thoughts and believing them may cause you to miss out on God's blessings. Psalm 77:11-12 says, “I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds." Hope has a name; Jesus. If you want to be used for the glory of God then you must trust in Him and think of his goodness, so you can overcome any obstacle!

Zechariah 4:10 says, " Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin". The house of God was made for those who don't have it all together; allowing him to take the people that are rejected by the world, and inject them into His Kingdom. Now even though the world views us as who we used to be, God sees who we're gonna be in Him, but it only takes a small decision to make a big difference in any situation. In order to make a big difference in any situation, your perspective has to change to put His plan in action. So stop complaining about the difficult situations in life and start thanking God for working through them.

The greatest gift ever given was not wrapped in a box or placed under a tree, but He was wrapped in the love of God and given freely unto man. Romans 5:15 says, “But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!” No matter the sin committed, it cannot outdo God's love. For wherever sin abounds, there is grace given in the gift of Jesus Christ out of the overflow of God's love. Allow God's love to overflow through you so others may come to know the goodness of Jesus Christ. Be the gift that keeps on giving.

If we feel like we're receiving under-flow instead of overflow in our lives, then we've allowed the enemy to take a seat at the table the Lord has prepared for us. Psalm 23:5 says, " You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows". People come to Christ when their life enters a state of crisis, but the Zenith of God's love shows up in any difficult circumstance. This makes us worthy of an overflow when our praise dictates our circumtance. So stop projecting the rejection you thought you were receiving and thank Him for His provison, protection, and for Your position in His presence.

At times on the journey of life, our situations may seem like too much to make it through. But on the other side of that burden is a blessing God has just for you. Hebrews 10:23 says, “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.” Faith always sees the victory, but what's blocking your blessing? You now have access to the presence of God, through the blood of Jesus Christ, so you can make it to the other side. You just have to get there! So whatever the weight you're carrying, lay it at His feet and push towards victory in spite of what you see.

In order for our capacity to grow, we have to be challenged! When was the last time you gave above your capacity? 2 Corinthians 8:5 says, “[Macedonians] And they exceeded our expectations: They gave themselves first of all to the Lord, and then by the will of God also to us.” We need to be willing to be challenged, so we can challenge others. If not, then we will become content, which leads to complacency that destroys our destiny. Instead of saying “I would if I could”, start saying “I can, and I will!” And the only way to challenge the contentment of your condition is to start right where you are with what you've got.
