Elisha ignites an army to prepare, participate, and position them to believe God for rain by digging ditches. Do you have this innate desire that God has greater in store for you? This doesn’t mean you are never content, just that you refuse to settle for complacency. The Jordan River represents a test in the life of Elisha as his teacher is no longer with him. We all face Jordan’s in our life where we stand on the banks of our situation wondering how we will we ever get to the other side of our problem. & he does not come through like we expect? When it seems our prayers are falling on deaf ears. When the God who loves us doesn't show up when we hoped? But God operates by a specific purpose, "his ways are not our ways, nor his thoughts ours."
