Dusterhoff is originally from Germany but now resides in the United States with his wife, Heike. Alongside his wife, Dusterhoff has brought Continental Saddlery from Europe and has brought it over to the USA, where it is now produced in Ider, Alabama. Continental Saddlery is now a booming business that prides itself in being made in the USA.
