Dusterhoff is originally from Germany but now resides in the United States with his wife, Heike. Alongside his wife, Dusterhoff has brought Continental Saddlery from Europe and has brought it over to the USA, where it is now produced in Ider, Alabama. Continental Saddlery is now a booming business that prides itself in being made in the USA.

This week on the podcast, I had the honor of having Nicole Deary on! Nicole is a Texan native with a lifelong passion for horses, faith, and working extremely hard. This week on the podcast, I chatted with Todd Bowman! Mr. Bowman has been in the horse industry since he was young. He says, "I was born a cowboy!" And he has held onto his passion his entire life. Bowman in his youth competed in bullfights, enjoyed sky diving, and now competes as a nonpro with his reining horses while running his business, Bowman Custom Spurs.

This week on the podcast, I had the incredible opportunity to speak with Julia Roshelli! Roshelli grew up in Pennsylvania, attended the University of Findlay, and now is an assistant trainer for Brandon Brant.

I wanted to have Roshelli on because of her outlook on life. She always seems to have a smile on her face and a great attitude. Julia has always been someone I’ve looked up to and was so excited to hear her story and advice.

This week on the podcast, I spoke with Mattie Gustin, “Chatty Mattie”. Gustin is a Texan native that has grown up with a passion for reining horses. She has trained with NRHA professional, Casey Deary, for over 10 years and has had incredible accomplishments. These accomplishments range from riding for Team USA in Switzerland to winning the LVL 1 & 2 NRHA Derby. Gustin is currently attending Texas A & M and is on their D1 equestrian team.

In the episode, we discuss Gustin’s background, deep dive into her life as a D1 athlete, overcoming confidence issues, overcoming challenges, her journey with Christ, and MORE!

This week on the podcast, I got to chat with Reinerstop founder, Sheley Brien! Brien has such a unique & powerful story; I was pumped to share it with you guys! Growing up Brien had a passion for horses, and as she grew older, that love honed specifically to reining horses. At age 24, Brien lost sight in her left eye, presenting her with a unique challenge. But she hasn’t let it stop her and has found success within and outside of the pen. Recently, She has taken that love of reiners and has created a media platform, ReinerStop, that is educating the sport of reining to thousands and thousands of people. And even outside of the horses, Brien has been a part of several successful ventures within corporate America.

This week we are joined by Cheryl Cody who has made countless impacts on the reining world. Cody is the president of Pro Management, Inc., which provides management, publishing, and media for some of the giants in the western performance horse industry. Pro management runs the NRHA Derby, NRHA Futurity, NRBC, and SWRHA Futurity. In 2018, Cheryl was the Reining Discipline Manager for the World Equestrian Games and she partners with Tom McCutcheon on Virtual Horse Help and she owns the online magazine WorldWide Slide. Cody also co-founded Rein-In-Cancer and has helped many individuals dealing with cancer.

This week I’ve had the amazing opportunity to talk to Daniel Patton! In recent years, Patton has played a huge role in advancing the western industry. Patton has translated his savvy business skills and applied them into the horse world and now runs his own farm, Four Star Quarter Horses. His family participates in the equine industry in one way or another from Dressage to Reining, Ranch Riding, and beyond. Patton’s newest advancements in the industry include the National Ranch Riding Futurity and The Triple Crown Challenge. This week I’ve had the chance to speak with NRHyA incoming President Haley Turner.
