This week I’ve had the amazing opportunity to get to interview Chelsea Sutton, who has impacted many lives both in & outside of the horse world. Originally an east coast girl, Sutton relocated to Arizona where she has started her own marketing company and has recently become a co-partner in ReinerStop. But in the horse world, she is better known for her voice being heard in various NRHA & AQHA show arenas. We chat about advice to young entrepreneurs, how Sutton got the job being the first woman to ever call the show from the main arena at any NRHA major event, and how she has turned several passions into the life that she has always dreamed of! This week, I had the opportunity to talk with the amazing Heidi Pichotta! Pichotta grew up loving horses and has had the opportunity to turn that love into a successful business, Mechanics for the Equine Athlete. Several years ago, Pichotta was in a truck-related accident that resulted in her losing feeling in her legs. But even after doctors warned her that she may never walk on her own again, Pichotta proved them wrong. After a long process, she can walk on her own, she goes on runs, and she is even back to showing her reining horses at major events. Pichotta has an incredible story and I was so grateful that I got the chance to tell it! This is a must-not-miss episode, especially in the spirit of Christmas: a reminder to be thankful for everything we have.

Happy Thanksgiving! Today we are joined by a flourishing rider, Carlee McCutcheon! Carlee, daughter of Tom & Mandy McCutcheon, has built a name for herself in both the reining & jumper world at only 16 years old. She won her first Grand Prix earlier this year, Pin Oak Charity Grand Prix, and has made several notable successes on her reiners as well. McCutcheon was born and raised to be a part of the industry and I was so excited to get her to take on several different aspects within it. In this episode, we discuss how she balances two different disciplines, traveling between shows, digging deeper into the jumping world, her accomplishments, and where she envisions herself in the future.

Welcome back to another episode! Today we are joined by Alexia Tordoff! Tordoff is an Ohio native but has traveled the country showing her horses with amazing results including multiple youth world globes & congress champion titles. She has dappled in several disciplines including horsemanship, hunter under saddle, and just recently, reining. I sat down with Tordoff and we discussed the background of her family farm, having a strong show pen mentality, the bond she shares with her sister, and her future goals both in and outside of college. It was so much fun hearing about Alexia's story and how she worked to become the rider that she is today.

This week we have the honor of hearing from Robin Schoeller! Schoeller is from Stuttgart, Germany, & moved to the United States in 2004 to work under NRHA's 6 million dollar earner, Shawn Flarida. Robin now operates ‘Robin Schoeller Reining Horses’ located in Bloomingburg, Ohio, alongside his family. I was so excited to have Robin on to learn more about his story and get his advice to aspiring trainers! We chat about his background, what he has learned from operating his own barn, 3-year-olds vs derby horses, & how he balances his business and family time.

I'm so excited to bring this episode to you guys! 

This week we are joined by Taylor Zimmerman. Zimmerman was born into a family that lives breathes and enjoys the horse world in a variety of different disciplines. Ranging from cow horse, pleasure, racing, and the main focus: reining. Her family owns the stud 'Not Ruf At All' and has been able to create a fantastic breeding program behind him. Taylor has many accolades in the reining world from being on Team USA Young Rider back in 2019 to making Lvl 4 nonpro finals at all the major events. Zimmerman currently rides on SMU's D1 Equestrian Team in Dallas Texas.

We chat about her background in reining, the biggest lessons she has learned, and what she had advice to aspiring D1 riders. I had so much fun learning about Taylor's history and learning what her plans are. Anyone can learn from Taylor and you are going to LOVE this episode!
