In this very special episode, Susan sits down for an extended conversation with Dr. Milan Reban. This episode was recorded on March 15, 2019, exactly 80 years to the day since Nazi troops descended on Dr. Reban's hometown. Dr. Reban shares vivid memories of his childhood in Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia during World War II, as well as the aftermath of the war and its impact on his own life and that of his family. Dr. Reban also discusses the courses he's taught for OLLI at UNT, many based on his own powerful life story, and how he first became involved with our program.

In this episode, Susan speaks with Dr. Pankaj Jain, Associate Professor in UNT's Department of Philosophy & Religion. In this episode, Susan speaks with Dr. Ryan Garlick, Principal Lecturer in UNT's Department of Computer Science and Engineering. They discuss his codebreaking work, including his participation in TV programs such as National Geographic's "Hunt for the Zodiac Killer."
