Olympic gold medalist Duncan Armstrong is calling on all political parties to introduce $400 Healthy Living Vouchers for a million Australians because it would reduce costs to the health system.

Olympic Legend Duncan Armstrong OAM told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, "There's so much pressure on our hospital system at the moment."

"The doctors are doing an outstanding job; the nurses and the healthcare workers, but they're under pressure."

"There's an enormous burden on them and we believe that our exercise professionals can help with that with preventative health, which is exercise programs now," Duncan Armstrong said.
